Our Maples classroom caters to ages 12 months to 24 months. The Maples classroom begins to teach independence and taking care of classroom materials. Through play, the teachers introduce and practice recognizing each child's own emotional and physical needs along with beginning to identify their own emotions and their friend's emotions. We model how to express their own needs and emotions. 

This age group loves to be on the move through dancing, climbing, jumping, and throwing. The materials in the classroom support this, and the teachers are nearby to facilitate play with their peers.
